A Sorry Tale
The device below was sold to one of our customers as a water softener. It is infact a water treatment device. The idea is that it keeps the calcium from sticking.
Let me show you his tap after a year of having it fitted
Loads of scale in the spout, his shower had loads of scale marks and it was all a real mess. We tested the hardness of the water and it was the same as the mains. HARD.
The customer was far from happy infact he is taking legal advice.
So we have fitted him one of our proper block salt water softener guaranteed to banish calcium.

filters can remove many things we normally use them on hard water to improve the flavour of the water by dealing with chlorine, particles and other nastys.
Here is a filter set that a customer had been using for 20 years. The tap had started to drip.
We replaced the unit with this tap with the filters hidden in the cupboard below. We even send our customers reminders when their filters need changing.

This locations a Toilet
This is our block salt softener mounted on a shelve in the staff toilet at a local Dorst Business. It will keep everything scum and scale free.
You might notice a strange drain arrangement. Please be assured that this served only the softener and had an air gap outside. No need to work at Kinetico head office.

A common problem in many houses-

Well with out softi non electric unit it is easy to install outside in a weather resistant box.
This is our wooden box but they are also available in non corrosive metal.
Inside they have a layer of insulation to help protect them from the weather.
So there are no excuses for suffering from hard water.
Another non salt softener
My heart always sinks when I have a call from a customer that have a 'salt free water softener'.
They always say can you test it as it is not working we still have loads of scale.
These units are not softeners, there is no test to see if they work and every customer will tell me they still have loads of scale.
All I can do is offer them one of our proper water softeners on a sale or return basis. Our Softeners work . Call if you want to try one, no strings.

it's ok we probably will not ask to plug in to your power supply. We do carry an extension lead.
We have gone green
As you know water Softeners not only save you money but stop so much nasty detergent being used and flushed down the drain. That's being green. We also now up have a charge point fitted for electric cars. Soon some of our salt will be delivered to you via our very own hybrid vehicle.
A special number
I saw this number plate and I had to buy it. Luckily it was nice and cheap. What you have got to remember is that our last name is WEBB.
We would love to see it parked outside your house when you have a water softener fitted.
